Goodbye February! Farewell yellow month!



On our last day in Valletta / Malta, I wanted to give you a little collection of pictures I've taken over the last couple of days. Toni and I held our eyes open in order to find yellow inspirations in Malta as well and when we could not take any more pictures of the light yellow sand houses I just threw on a new yellow sweater and walked around with the yellow satchel – colour blocking away ;)

Malta hasn't probably shown its face from its best with rainy weather and military ships lurking from everywhere. Also the news with Malta being one of the hot spots in dealing with Libya didn't exactly create a warm and welcoming feeling. Toni and I still succeeded in having a good time with many giggly moments, three finished books (which I want to tell you about in a later post) and just ONE sunny day spent at the bay of Marsaxlokk (the pictures with the colourful boats are from there). Tomorrow we are heading back home … where we are hopefully greeted with a warm spring arriving soon and we'll meet again next month with the colour GREEN ;)

Am letzten Tag in Valletta/Malta wollte I'll now show a small collection of images that we shot in the last days. Toni and I have kept our eyes open, looking for yellow inspiration. When we photograph no yellow sandstone buildings were more because my memory card überzuquellen threatened, but then I threw my new yellow sweater with the yellow school bags and trudged across the island - a serious color-blocking!

Malta has us probably not at its very best side presented with rainy weather and cool temperatures and changing military ships that greeted us on our morning walking round. Even Malta's role as one of the important strategic Issues related to the Libya crisis created not necessarily a warm and cozy atmosphere. Nevertheless, Toni and I managed to have a really nice time: several fits of laughter, three by read books (of which in any case more in the next posts) and a sunny day on the bay of Marsaxlokk (the pictures with that beautiful, colorful boats are from there). Tomorrow we return home ... but where are blooming hopefully a warm spring and we are in the next month with the color green again;)
